Faith Zimmer is a choral composer, as well as a published poet, singer/songwriter and illustrator. She currently works as the resident composer for First & Calvary Church. Faith graduated from Missouri State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition and in 2021 with a graduate certificate in choral studies. Faith has performed with MSU choirs across North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Much of Faith’s compositional influence comes from studying composition and arranging with renowned composers Alice Parker and Dr. John Wykoff, along with director Dr. Cameron LaBarr. She also has studied lyric poetry with Charles Anthony Silvestri. Faith's choral works are published through Walton Music, and have been widely performed, including a performance of Laus Trinitati by the Texas All-State Tenor-Bass Choir. Her work has been recorded by the Missouri State Chorale on their album On My Way on the GIA ChoralWorks label.
Faith records music as a singer/songwriter. She releases music on Spotify and iTunes under her name and with a band called Adamant Faith, as well as original worship music under First & Calvary. In addition to composing and writing poetry, Faith paints visual art, weaves tapestries, and teaches voice and songwriting lessons.
